The beginning of a dream — Provence, 1987
In the sunlit heart of Provence, among lavender fields and stone-lined streets, a young dressmaker named Louise Perrin decided to turn her small atelier into a fashion house. It was 1987. Inspired by the graceful silhouettes of the women around her and by the timeless beauty of nature, she began creating garments that combined comfort, charm and quiet sophistication.
Louise’s spirit: natural elegance and artisanal craftsmanship
Louise believed that every garment should tell a story. She worked exclusively with natural fabrics — linen, cotton and viscose — and each piece was carefully handcrafted in her modest workshop at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Before long, her designs became staples at local markets, admired for their simplicity and authenticity.
From local markets to Parisian wardrobes
Word of mouth and the sincerity of her creations soon caught the attention of Parisian boutiques. By the early 1990s, Louise’s designs were making their way beyond Provence. In 1994, she launched her first mini-collection, distributed in Paris, Aix-en-Provence and Avignon — marking the beginning of the brand’s national expansion.
Passing on the craft — a new chapter in the 2000s
In 2003, Louise passed on her expertise to her niece Camille, who brought a contemporary sensibility while remaining true to the house’s essence: elegant, comfortable and enduring fashion. The atelier grew, yet remained a family-led endeavour. Every piece continued to be designed to enhance each woman’s natural beauty.
